1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PlateFlow ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PlateFlow is a cloud-based restaurant operating system providing point-of-sale, kitchen display, reservation management, staff scheduling, guest CRM, and reporting tools. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a free tier and paid plans.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. You authorize PlateFlow to charge your payment method on file. Prices may change with 30 days' notice. The free tier includes up to 2,500 orders per month with no credit card required.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service. PlateFlow will not sell your data to third parties.

7. Service Availability

PlateFlow aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance.

The POS application is designed to provide limited local continuity during temporary network interruptions. If connectivity is lost while the POS is already running, the system may allow staff to continue creating orders, which can be stored locally and synchronized when connectivity is restored. These capabilities are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed. Certain functions, including card payment processing, reporting, and real-time kitchen display updates, require an active internet connection.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is owned by PlateFlow. You retain all rights to your content and data. Your use of the Service does not grant you any intellectual property rights in the Service itself.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlateFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination. PlateFlow will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow retrieval.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms may be directed to [email protected].
